Hi, I’m Morgan Hayward

If you are looking for a counsellor or therapist it’s only right that you know a bit about who you intend to see.

In this line of work, you need to be qualified. I completed my Bachelor of Social Science majoring in counselling gaining membership to the prestigious Golden Key International Honour Society. I have an Advanced Diploma of Applied Social Science giving me a theoretical and practical education in social sciences again with a focus on counselling. I also hold a certificate in Training and Assessment that I found helpful with psycho-educational issues around sexual functioning. I am currently engaged in graduate studies in psychology.

I completed an internship at Impotence Australia gaining practical counselling skills to help men and their partners – that’s right – I help women as well – in sexual health, relationship, self-esteem and personal development issues. This includes counselling for hetrosexual couples, gay and lesbian relationship counselling and gender counselling. I am a Clinical Member of the Psychotherapy & Counselling Federation of Australia (PACFA), and a member of ASSERT (NSW) (Australian Society of Sex Educators and Researcher Therapists NSW).

I have written for WellBeing magazine about impotence and have presented on sex and relationship issues at professional agencies and peer supervision groups. I have also been published by the Counsellors and Psychotherapists Association about men in the concept of health seeking.

To download the article I wrote for Well Being magazine which has been read hundreds of times on-line, right-click on the WellBeing article here and select Save As. This requires the free Adobe Acrobat Reader to view this ebook.

I have tutored at the University of Western Sydney on Drug and Process Addictions and I am teacher in Special Communications, Community and Welfare studies. I have developed men’s sexual health awareness talks for local council health professionals and have been involved in the delivery of workshops on men’s sexual health issues to psychologists, occupational therapists, counsellors, general practitioners and other health-care professionals.

Several years ago, I established the first anxiety support group in the Hawkesbury region in Western Sydney and I am a current member of the Mental Health Association of NSW.
