Self Motivation

Self motivation is a driving force people tap into to initiate action, or remain persistent and focused on a goal of their choosing. Self-motivation can have various areas of focus, for instance biological drives such as hunger, thirst, sex and self-preservation; and social focus such as the need for achievement and affiliation with others. Self-motivation can also be affected by psychological issues, such as low self-esteem or depression.
